John O. Culverhouse, 61, of Waco, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 30, at China Spring Cemetery.

John Odell was born in McLennan County, Texas, to the late Lloyd Odell Culverhouse and Marjorie Jeanette Murphy Culverhouse. He graduated from Richfield High School in 1973. John was a carpenter by trade, and avid sportsman.

He was proceded in death by his father, Lloyd Culverhouse; mother, Marjorie Johnson; brother, Roy Culverhouse; and sister, Cindy Davis.

Survivors include his daughters, Barbara Blackshear and Marjorie Culverhouse; son, John Culverhouse Jr.; grandchildren: Jennifer and Katelynn Blackshear, Glitter, Anthony, and Alyssa Torres; brothers, Ricky Culverhouse and wife, Kim, and Jim Culverhouse and wife, Linda; sister, Christy Culverhouse; other relatives and many friends.
