Funeral services for Charles E. Crowson, 55, who died at 5:20 a.m. Sunday at his home, were conducted from Compton’s Chapel at 3 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Alvin E. Houser officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Surviving are his widow; Lelia Mae Williams Crowson; two sons, James Albert and Robert Lee Crowson; daughter, Barbara Alice Crowson; six sisters, Mrs. J. J. Talbert, Mrs. George Thomas, Mrs. George Allen, Mrs. M. F. Rogers, Mrs. Lucy Norman and Mrs. H. C. Peterson.

Mr. Crowson was born in Fort Worth, he made his home in Waco for the past eight years.
