Tommy Dean Croford, 31, of Bryan, formerly of Waco, was killed around 8:30 a.m. Saturday when the tractor-trailer truck he was driving left the road and slammed into a grove of trees about 10 miles south of Navasota on Highway 6.
Funeral services 2:30 p.m. Monday at Wilkirson-Hatch Chapel, Rev. Tom Yezzi and Rev. Randall Cottengame officiating.
Military services at graveside at China Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Croford was born in Clifton and graduated from China Spring High School. He was in the Marine Corps from 1965 to 1969 and served in Viet Nam.
He was a truck driver for Yellow Freight Lines and a member of China Spring Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Doris Croford; two daughters, Tracy Croford and Tiffany Croford, both of Bryan; two sons, Tony Croford and Tod Croford, both of Bryan; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Tom Croford of Waco; and a brother, Michael Wayne Croford of Aquilla.
