Mrs. Mamie E.Croford, 69, of Clifton, died at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday in her home after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday at Connally’s Chapel, Rev. Gussie Thornal officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Croford; five sons, Mintus Croford, Tom and Orville Croford, Frank Croford and Wesley Croford of Louisiana; four daughters, Mrs. Ina Cottongame of Dawson, Mrs. Willie Schfer of Cleburne, Mrs. Jessie Toten of Wco and Mrs. O. L. Schoonover of Clifton; half-brother, J. B. Eckols of Big Spring; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
