Michael Cook, Jr. 32 of Waco, passed away on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10 at Lakeshore Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Michael was born May 21, 1981 in Waco to Michael Cook, Sr.  and Beverly Ann Jay Cook. He lived in Waco all his life and was the assistant manager at Sonic Drive-In.

He was predeceased by his mother, Beverly Jay Cook in 2011; his maternal grandmother, JoAnn Harcrow Jay; his paternal grandparents, Francis Marrs and John “Jack” Cook, Jr.; uncle, John E. Cook, III, and cousin, James Cook, Jr.

He is survived by his father, Michael Cook, Sr.  of Waco; sister, Ashley Cook and brother Ty Jason Jay; fiancé Deonna Ridgeway and her children, Heaven, Audrey and Matthew; maternal grandfather, H. B. Jay; aunts and uncles, James Cook and wife Tammy, Kathy Goff and husband, Gary, Carla Hines and husband John, and Donna Yglecias; his nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, Anthony Cook & Angel Kramer and T.J. & Tori Jay.
