Monday, January 23, 1905: Joe Clements, old citizen of China Spring, died yesterday. Age between 70 and 80. Leaves two daughters and one son, Mrs. W. M. Arnold and Mrs. R. R. (Ida) Maury, James Clements of Lampasas.
