James William Cash, 73, of China Spring passed away on September 30, 1999 at a local hospital.

Services for Mr. Cash will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 2 at Connally Compton Funeral Directors Chapel followed by interment in China Spring Cemetery. Donnie Brown and Paul G. Smith officiating.

James was a deacon at First Baptist Church of China Spring for 40 years and worked for Word, Inc. for more than 25  years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Helen Cash of China Spring; daughters, Renee DeWitt and her husband John of Irving and Regina Talbert and her husband Tim of China Spring; sister, Inez Ford; brothers, Robert G. Cash, Huby Cash, Kenneth Cash and Burt Cash.
