A. M. (Buck) Carpenter, 75, of Waco died Sunday at a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. today, August 9, 1993, at China Spring Cemetery, the Rev. Dan Hitt officiating.
Mr. Carpenter was born April 24, 1918, in China Spring and attended school there. He married Lillian Wallace on Dec. 24, 1937, in China Spring. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Air Corps. He was a member of China Spring Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; five sisters, Bertie Scholes of Brenham, Vera Maude Willie of Columbia, Willie Bett Hamlin of Palacious, Mary Kepler of Houston, and Monette Hill of Hurst; brother, Roger Carpenter of Houston
