Funeral services for Ernest Watson Cannon, 87, of 1715 Live Oak, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Compton-Waltrip Chapel here, Dr. Floyd Johnson and Rev. G. P. Comer officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Mr. Cannon died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday at his home.

He was born in Robinson and had lived in and around Waco all his life. He was a retired painter and paperhanger.

Survivors include two sons, Ernest A. Cannon and Eugene Cannon; six daughters, Mrs. S. P. Fetzer, Mrs. Agnes Bain, Mrs. E. A. Swanner, Mrs. J. E. Breedlove and Mrs. G. P. Comer; 15 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
