Mrs. Rachael Burt, aged 41, died at 12:30 noon, Sunday, at the family residence near Erath.  The funeral took place Monday afternoon at 3:30 from the Baptist church at China Springs, Rev. Dean officiating, interment being made in the China Springs Cemetery.

Besides her husband, C. W. Burt, Jr., nine children and her mother Mrs. J. D. Goodman of Valley Mills, Mrs. Burt is survived by two sisters and three brothers.  Mesdames Pat Mayberry of Norris, Texas, and Carl Friedman of Valley Mills; H. Goodman,  Johnsonville, Texas; John Goodman, Valley Mills, and Matt Goodman, Erath.
