Funeral services for Jerry Pat Blassingame, 2, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Blassingame of Valley Mills, who was burned to death Monday afternoon, will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at China Spring Baptist Church, Williams in charge.

The blaze started while the little boy and three other children were playing in a barn at his home.  Ford Forson, justice of the peace at Valley Mills, said three of the children escaped from the barn and notified Mrs. Blassingame, whose consequent efforts to save her child proved unsuccessful
