Thelma Louise Bird of China Spring died Friday, April 26, 1996. She was 82.

Service will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Clifton Funeral Home in Clifton. Burial in China Spring Cemetery.

She was reared in McLennan and Bell Counties.

Survivors include two sons, David and Jim Bird; four daughters, Minnie Linsey, Winnie Rushing, Leta Faye Chandler, and Jeanne Poston; two brothers; one sisters, 27 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
