Jim Martin Bird, 65 of Valley Mills died Wednesday night in a Clifton hospital.

Funeral services: 2:00 p.m. Friday at Foss Funeral Home Chapel of Valley Mills, Rev. W. R. Parmer officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors: wife, Thelma Bird of Valley Mills; three sons, James Bird of Belton, David Bird of China Spring and Jim Edd Bird of Valley Mills; four daughters, Mrs. Charles Lindsey of China Spring, Mrs. Harold Rushing of Oklahoma, Mrs. Dwight Chandler of Killeen and Mrs. Ralph Poston of Valley Mills; two sisters, Mrs. Carl Brentham of Moody and Mrs. Ella Cox of McGregor; three brothers, Roy Bird of Flat, Virgil Kinsey of Kilgore and J. W. Kinsey of Killeen; 22 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
