Jesse Carter Bailey, 66, died at 3:13 a.m. Tuesday in a local hospital.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at China Spring Methodist Church, Rev. Malcolm Harrell officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors: two brother, Clark C. Bailey and O. L. Bailey.

Active pallbearers: Hugh Eichelberger, Nig Ferguson, Frank Carpenter, Ernest Golson, L.E. Buice, and C. C. Dosher.
