Mrs. G. V. Allen, 60, died at her residence at China Spring Thursday. Funeral services will be held at China Spring Baptist Church Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. W. P. Jones officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Hicks, Buddy Thomas, J. B. Lindsey, Barney Chandler, Jess Woodward and Sam Talbert.

Surviving are her husband, three sons, Ernest L Allen of China Spring, Terry Allen of Erath and Johnnie Allen of China Spring; four daughters, Mrs. Frank (Pearl) Jenkins of Erath, Mrs. Elsie (Ruby) Sapp of Erath, Mrs. Roy (Lenna Mae) Davis of Waco and Mrs. Guy (Ina Opal) McCrary of Rock Creek; two sisters, Mrs. Tom Flourady of Waco and Mrs. John Rogers of Erath.

Mrs. Allen was a native of Florida but had lived in China Spring most of her life.
