Funeral services for Henry C. Madewell, 79, of China Spring will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in China Spring Baptist church.
Rev. Paul Smith and Rev Earl Vanderford will officiate. Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Madewell died Monday in a local rest home.
Mr. Madewell had lived in China Spring for 62 years. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of China Spring Baptist church.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Robert Ueckert of 1007 North Thirtieth Street, Mrs. Charles Bentley of Valley Mills and Mrs. Hollis Cunningham of Waco; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Rogers of Palestine and Mrs. Sue Greggers of Fort Worth; five brothers, Lee Madewell of Ennis, Jeff Madewell and Dick Madewell of Palestine, Earl Madewell of Jordanton, Joe Madewell of Lorena; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
