Funeral services for Edmund Kimbro Maury, 88, who burned to death in a blaze that destroyed his home and belongings at China Spring early Tuesday, were conducted at the grave in China Spring cemetery Wednesday at 10 a.m., Rev. Ernest Stires, rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal church, officiating. Wilkirson-Hatch in charge of burial.
Mr. Maury was the father of Miss Mary Maury, principal of the Methodist Home school.
