Victor John Hampton, 83, of Waco died Monday in a Clifton hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at China Spring First Methodist Church, Rev. Delbert Taylor officiating. Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.

Mr. Hampton was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a retired mining engineer and had lived in Waco the past two months.

Survivors include his wife; son, Ronald Hampton of China Spring; two daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Senn of Billings, Montana and Mrs. Maraquita Holiday of Moroni, Utah; a brother and four sisters.
