Funeral services for John T. Nail, 85, who died Monday night in Wichita Falls at the home of his son Ed Nail, were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at China Spring Baptist Church.  Rev. Walter E. Floyd officiating, burial in China Spring cemetery.   Compton’s in charge.

Mr. Nail is survived by three sons, J. C. of China Spring, Thurston of Rusk, and Ed Nail of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Henry Nail of Stamford and L. W. Nail of Fort Worth; 15 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Nail was born in Mississippi and came to Texas in 1878, settling in Cass county.  He moved to China Spring 30 years ago.  For the past 10 years he has made his home in Wichita Falls.
