James (Jim) Dawson O’Neal, 88, of Valley Mills died Thursday morning in a Valley Mills nursing home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Foss Funeral Chapel in Valley Mills, the Rev. W. R. Parmer officiating.  Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors include a son, Robert O’Neal of Valley Mills; a brother, C. H. O’Neal of Kilgore; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
