David Eugene Olds, 46, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at China Spring United Methodist Church with Pastor Allen Grant officiating. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, at OakCrest Funeral Home in Waco.

David was born in Abbeville, La., to Gene and Judy (Floyd) Olds. He served his country in the U.S. Navy as an electrician. David worked 27 years in the ammonia refrigeration field, where he was one of the best at what he did. He loved to fish, work in the yard, ride his motorcycle, spend time with his family and cook, especially Cajun food.

David left behind a wife, Joanne Olds; sons, Connor Olds and Jeremy Olds, all of China Spring; mother, Judy Floyd Olds, of Abbeville, La.; father, Gene Olds, of Shreveport, La.; brothers, Randy Olds, of Arlington and Michael Olds, of Austin; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
