Mrs. Ben H. Roberts, Sr., of Waco, died Wednesday in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the China Spring Methodist Church with Rev. Payton Goodman officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Roberts was born in Hubbard, daughter of the late Ammie and H. O. Crowley . She moved to China Spring with her family when she was six. She married Ben Roberts, May 16, 1912 at China Spring. Mr. Roberts died October 25, 1970.

She was a dietician at the Gatesville State School for Boys for 17 years. She retired in 1957 and returned to Waco. She was a member of the China Spring Methodist Church sicne 1905.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Roy (N.M.) Nail, Mrs. V. D. (Frances) Pollard, and Mrs. E. B. (Mildred) Duncan; three sons, Ben H. Roberts, Jr., Jess Roberts, and Ray Roberts; sister, Mrs. William M. Calloway of Bay City; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
