Doctor Green Stewart, 70, who lived between China Spring and Bosqueville, died in a local hospital Thursday morning at 2:30 o’clock after an illness of 10 days.
Funeral services will be held from China Spring Methodist Church Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock, Rev. G. C. William officiating, Clark’s in charge.
Pallbearers will be John Grayson, Hugh Grayson, Roy Stone, Foreston Scott, Ben Giles and Everett White.
Surviving are his widow: three sons, Lovick of Olney, Norris of North Pleasanton and Emory of Walnut Springs; five daughters, Mrs. J. L. Williams of Sabinal, Mrs. J. W. McAlpine of Chicago, Mrs. John Firestone of Henrietta, Mrs. T. A. Burroughs of Mart and Mrs. W. K. Koethe of Henrietta; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Stewart came to this country 58 years ago and taught in the Patrick school for two years. He had lived near China Spring for the past 45 years.
