Mrs. Effie Wallace, 89, of 1236 Frost, died Wednesday at her residence.

Funeral services 3 p.m. Friday at China Spring Baptist Church, Rev. Paul Smith and Rev. Hoyt Hunnicutt officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors: four daughters, Mrs. Homer (Ona) Robinson of 2716 Pine, Mrs. W. C. (Annie) Walker  of 3117 Lasker, Mrs. J. Walker of 3805 Windsor Ave., and Mrs. John Severs of Bryan, Texas; four sons, E. W. Wallace of 1609 Alexander, Dan Wallace of China Spring, and Arthur Wallace and Robert Wallace, Jr. both of 1236 Frost; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers, grandsons; Howard Nelson, Bill Barger, Danny Wallace, Larry Wayne Barger, David Wilson and Gary Brown.

Honorary pallbearers:  Dr. Jack Sloan, Dr. Harvey Richey, Dr. M. M. McRae, Dr. Jack Walker, Bobby Barger, and Bubba Nelson.

The family will be at 2716 Pine.
