R. A. Wallace, 73, died at his home at China Spring at 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at China Spring Baptist church, Rev. Bill Liner Jr. officiating, burial in China Spring cemetery.

Surviving are his widow; four sons, Dan, Arthur and Bob Jr. of China Spring, and Monroe of Conrad; four daughters, Mrs. J. W. Walker, Jr., Mrs. Claude Walker and Mrs. Homer Robinson, all of China Spring and Mrs. John Severs of Camp Hood; one sister, Mrs. Tim Walters of Durant, Okla.; one brother, Bill Wallace of Phoenix, Ariz.

Pallbearers were R. E. Thomas, Elzie Null, S. B. Ferguson, W. T. Davis, R. L. Summerlin, Jim Hulme.
