Funeral services for Jasper M. Chaffin, 79, who died at his home in China Spring at 4:40 a.m. Sunday, following a long illness, were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Clark’s Funeral Home, Rev. Fred Janeway officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Pallbearers were T. W. Davis, R. L. Crawford, Elzie Null, J. F. Giddings, R. E. Thomas and A. M. Humberson.
