Mrs. Effie Payne Willis, 80, of 2612 Gorman, died at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday at a local hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Connally Chapel.  Rev. Peyton Goodman officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors: Four sisters, Mrs. Della Georgia Forrest of 2612 Gorman, Miss Coy Payne of 2612 Gorman, Mrs. Birdie Cude of 1701 North Twelfth; two brothers, Will Payne of 525 North Eleventh, Oscar Payne of China Spring.
