Funeral services for Mrs. O. J. (Mary Maud) Burt will be at Wilkirson and Hatch Chapel at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dr. W. W. Melton officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Burt, former LaVega and Riesel school teacher, died at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday in a local hospital.

Mrs. Burt was retired after teaching for over 20 years. She taught at Riesel for the last 20 years and before that had taught at LaVega. She was born in Omaha and moved to Waco 35 years ago.

Survivors include her husband of Waco; two brothers, C. L. Hendrick and J. C. Hendrick, both of Waco; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Lindsey of Arlington.
