Mark M. Murphy, 88, died at 12:15 p.m. Thursday at his home Route 10, Waco.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Connally’s Chapel, Rev. D. G. Wright officiating, burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Callie Boyd; one son, Travis M. Boyd of Waco; four daughters, Miss Edith Boyd and Mrs. Frank (Lillie Belle) Cobbs, both of Waco, Mrs. Lucy Cobbs and Mrs. A. W. (Sarah Catherine)  Rentz, both of Bosqueville; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers: Louis Roberts, Ray Stone, Luther Peters, Rupert Saunders, Wallace Smith and Sam Talbert.
