Mrs. Carl E. (Susan) Walker of China Spring, a retired employee of the Federal Reserve in Portland, Ore., died Saturday at a local hospital.  She was 52.

Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at China Spring Cemetery, the Rev. Earl Lanting officiating.

Mrs. Walker was born March 29, 1941, in Astoria, Ore., and attended school in Milwaukee, Ore.  She married Carl E. Walker on Aug. 14, 1982.  She worked for the Federal Reserve in Portland, Ore., for 17 years before retiring in 1984 and moving to China Spring.

Survivors include her husband; her mother, Alta Porter of Bend, Ore.; two daughters, Lisa Evans of China Spring and Linda Brown of Oregon City, Ore.; a son, Jeffrey Walker of China Spring; two sisters, Janet Hall of Klamath Falls, Ore. and Betty Smeltzer of LaPine, Ore.;  a brother, Clyde Porter of Bend, Ore.; and two grandchilren.
