Funeral services for Karen Margaret Smith, 17, of Route 1, China Spring, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Speegleville Baptist Church with Rev. Elmer Fulp officiating.  Burial will be in the China Spring Cemetery.

Miss Smith was killed Thursday morning when the panel truck in which she was riding overturned on China Spring road one mile outside Bosqueville.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Smith of China Spring; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Mize of Clifton; a great-grandmother, Mrs. Mary Brock of Crawford; two brothers, Vernon Smith of Clifton and Martin Smith Jr. of China Spring; three sisters, Mrs. Mark Webb of Detroit, Mich., and Miss Deby Smith and Miss Marsha Smith both of China Spring.
