Richard Craig “Hat Trick” Schroeder, 45, of Waco, passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at Wilkirson-Hatch-BaileyChapel, with the Rev. Jimmy Dorrell officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. A reception to share memories with family and friends will be after the graveside service, at the VFW Post in Hewitt. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room.
Craig was born in Waco, Texas, to Marvin and Beverly Schroeder. Craig was a 1983 graduate of Richfield High School and attended Texas State Technical Institute and Texas A&M University, where he pursued a degree in electrical engineering. He was the owner of Schroeder’s Auto Sound and Security. Craig had a passion for Dallas Stars hockey, the fighting Texas A&M Aggies and riding his Harley. He was a dedicated member of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA), making their mission a significant part of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Phillips Schroeder; parents, Marvin and Beverly Schroeder; brother, Marc Schroeder and wife, Jenny, and niece, Alexis.
