Lola Richardson, 84, of China Spring, passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at a local nursing home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at Grace Baptist Church in China Spring. Interment will be at China Spring Cemetery, under the direction of Foss Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Richardson was born in Valley Mills, Texas, to the late Roy and Martha (Watson) Wilson. She attended the Austin School for the deaf. She married H.P. Richardson on Aug. 11, 1945, in Houston. Mrs. Richardson had lived in the China Spring area since 1986, and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, H.P. Richardson; sons, Paul M. Richardson and wife, Vivian, John H. Richardson and wife, Pat, Brett T. Richardson and Amy, and Jeffery Richardson; grandchildren, Amber Oliver, Brad Richardson, Gregory Richardson, and Tyler Clifto; and two great-grandchildren.
