Bobbie Rice of McGregor, a retired waitress and manager of Hollys Restaurant in Los Angeles, Calif., died Sunday in McGregor.  She was 73.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at China Spring Cemetery, the Rev. Mark Newton officiating.

Ms. Rice was born May 12, 1920, in Cayote and attended school at Mosheim.  She married William Tilden Pruitt, Sr. in Meridian.  She was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971; and a son William Tilden Pruitt Jr. on Oct. 19, 1981.

Survivors include two sons, Robert R. Pruitt and Richard Pruitt, both of California; two sisters, Clara D. Rice of Waco and Wilma Brown  Eppolito of Stafford; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
