Susan Michelle Ray, age 28, of China Spring, died Wednesday in a local hospital. Services at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Wilkirson-Hatch Chapel, with Rev. Donnie Brown officiating. Burial at China Spring Cemetery.
Susan was born on August 12, 1968, in Waco, daughter of Waylan and Susie Cobb of China Spring. She graduated from China Spring High School in 1986. She played the flute in the band. She married David Ray on June 6, 1987, in China Spring. She was employed as a policy analyst with Texas Farm Bureau. She was a member of First Baptist Church in China Spring.
Survivors include husband, David Ray of China Spring; parents, Waylan and Susie Cobb of China Spring; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Snook and Shirley Ray of China Spring; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Sally Cobb of China Spring and Ben and Amanda Cobb of Azle; two sisters-in-law, Karen Seymour and her husband, Bobby, of Granbury and Susan Dominguez and her husband, Alex, of China Spring; grandparents-in-law, B. L. and Lora Martin of Arlington; two nephews, Cyrus Cobb and wife Aubrey, of Waco and Christopher Lynch of Granbury; and two nieces, Charly Ann Lynch and Shayna Seymour, both of Granbury.
Visitation at Wilkirson-Hatch from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Stried, Jimmy DeLosSantos, Jerry Trout, Billy Joe Mercer, Scott Tacker and Robbie Hughes.
