William H. (Bill) Peters, a retired China Spring Independent School District employee, died Thursday in a New Braunfels hospital, He was 76.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today at China Spring Cemetery, Angelo Bertini officiating.

Mr. Peters was employed with the China Spring school district for about 40 years.  He also owned Chaswick Kennels and raised registered poodles.

He was member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include a sister, Francs Ross of Houston, and several nieces and nephews.

The family has designated the individual’s favorite charity for memorials.
