W. W. McLennan, 71, a Clifton farmer died at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday following a collision between a farm tractor and a train on a county road in Bosque County.

McLennan was born July 2, 1916, in China Spring.  He was a major in the U.S. Air Force and served as a bomber pilot during World War II, during which he was taken prisoner by the Germans.
