Mrs. Johnnie Mae McGowan, 63, of 2516 Burnett died at 1 pm Tuesday in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 pm Thursday in Connally Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. C. Reginal King officiating. Burial in China Spring Cemetery.

Survivors: her husband, Merris E. McGowan; four daughters, Mr. R. E. (Juanita Jane)  Watts, Mrs. Darrell Walker, Mrs. C. L. Williams and Mrs. Carl (Cleola Mae) Sharp, all of Waco; two sons, Harold L. McGowan of Clovis, California and Kenneth E. McGowan of Waco; her mother, Mrs. Nettie Anderson of Dallas; sister, Mrs. Don Jepson of Dallas; brother, L.C. Anderson of Waco; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
