Lois McCaig of China Spring died at a local hospital on Monday, June 10, 1996.  She was 45.

Service will be held at Timber Crest Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Thursday, with Rev. Dale Noska officiating.  Burial will be at  China Spring Cemetery.  Family to receive friends at Connally/Compton West Chapel on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Mrs. McCaig was born to William Yuille and Betty Dalrymple in Waco on October 24, 1950.  She drove a school bus for China Spring Rio Brazos School District.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, a friend to all who met her and a child of God.

She is survived by husband, William McCaig of China Spring; sons, Daniel McCaig and Dustin Uptmore, both of China Spring; daughters, Betty Price and Stacey McCaig, both of China Spring; granddaughter, Ashely Danielle McCaig of Roseburg, Ore.; sister, Tina Sommerville of West Virgnia; three half sisters and one half brother; and father, William Yuille of Carrolton, Mo.
