Mr. C. F. Maddux, 62, of 610 North Sixteenth died Friday in a local hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. in China Spring Cemetery, Rev. Dean Renfro officiating.

Mr. Maddux was born in Bruceville and moved to Cameron where he attended school.  He moved to  Waco in 1931 and worked for Central Freight Lines for more than 18 years.

He then moved to Dallas and was employed by the Motor Truck Equipment Co., for 20 years.  At the time of his death, he was employed by the American Association of Retired Persons.  He was a Baptist.

He is survived by a son, Ron Maddux of 600 West Karnes; four sisters, Mrs. Attie Garrett, Mrs. Georgie Newman and Mrs. Lela Senn, all of Waco, and Mrs. Hortence Brooks of Lake Whitney; three brothers, B. I. Maddux and J. M. Maddux, both of Waco, and Bob Henry Maddux of Houston; and two grandchildren.
