Crockett T. Light, 84, of Valley Mills died Saturday morning at his residence.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Foss Funeral Home in Valley Mills, the Rev. Jerry Heath officiating.  Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.

Mr. Light was born October 1, 1901, in China Spring.  He was married to Ima Bradbury on October 22, 1938, in Clifton.

He was in construction work most of his life and lived in the Valley Mills area most of his life.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Brad Light of Valley Mills, William Light of Electra and Wayne Light of Clifton; three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Mildred) Churchman of Hewitt and Mrs. Lloyd (Florence) Smith and Reba Smith, both of Valley Mills; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
