Mrs. Allie Light, 79, of Valley Mills died Friday night (May 16, 1986) at a Waco
hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at China Spring Cemetery, the Rev. Curtis Holland officiating.
Mrs. Light was born Feb. 11, 1907 in McLennan County. She married Edward Fred Light on July 19, 1924 in Meridian. She lived in the Valley Mills and China Spring area most of her life.

Survivors include two sons, Edward D. Light of Waco and Bennie Lee Light of Virginia; daughter, Martha Bird of China Spring; three brothers, W. L. Smith and Raymond Smith, both of Waco, and Paul Smith of Valley Mills; two
sisters, Lucille Smith and Viola White, both of Waco; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
