Doris Hodges, 62 of Waco died Wednesday November 10 at a local hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Parkview Baptist Church, Rev. John Collier and Rev. John Abraham officiating. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery.

Doris was born March 3, 1937 to Ira and Bessie Smith. She was a teachers aided at Parkview Christian Academy and a member of Parkview Baptist Church where she was recognized as the 1999 Mother of the Year.

She is survived by her husband, James A. Hodges; mother, Bessie Smith; daughter, Robin Honea; son, Darrell Hodges; two sisters, June Powers and Jeaneen Terrall; three brothers, Aubrey Smith, Donnie Smith and Roger Smith; three grandchildren.
