Mrs. W. F. (Murl) Haferkamp, of China Spring died Friday in a Waco hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Scott Stallings officiating. Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.

Mrs. Haferkamp was born May 19, 1912 in Axtell and attended Axtell schools. She married W. F. Haferkamp on December 12, 1936 in Mart. She worked as a nurse’s aide and was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, W. F.Haferkamp of China Spring; son, David Haferkamp of China Spring; sister, Mrs. Arvilla Cooper of Long Beach, California; one grandchild.
