Mona Delores Haralson, 88, of Waco, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014, in St. Catherine Center Nursing Home. A graveside service was held on Friday, October 3, 2014, in China Spring Cemetery.

Delores was born in Lubbock, Texas, to the late Alton Buice, Sr. and Mona Buice. Delores was married to Marvin Haralson Sr. on May 24, 1942, at the home of her parents in Waco, Texas. She and Marvin, Sr. celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 25, 2002, at the Third Street Baptist Church in Waco. For many years she worked in the gift wrapping department at Cox’s Department Store, retiring at the age of 65.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Marvin Lee Haralson, Sr.; daughter, Debra Sue Menefee; step-mother, Myrtle Richards Buice; brothers: Alton Jr., Billy, Bobby, and Donny.

Survivors include sons, Marvin Haralson, Jr. and wife, Helen, of Waco, and Fred Haralson and wife, Ginny, of Dallas; daughter, Linda Haralson, of Waco; grandchildren: Jason Haralson and wife, Brandy, of Zephyr, Hilary Fosse and husband, Brian, of Hudson Oaks, Staley Justice and husband, Chad, of Waco, Aaron Haralson, of Dallas, Christy Haralson, of Nashville, TN, Cody Menefee, of Waco, and Casey Menefee, of Auburn, California; great-grandchildren, Camryn Menefee, of Waco, and Jaydon Ezra, of Zephyr; sister, Sarah Wallace and husband, Jerry, of Dallas; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
