Mrs. Ruie Cannon Fetzer, 98, of Austin, formerly of Waco, died Sunday at an Austin hospital.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2000, at China Spring Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Andy Fowler officiating.

Mrs. Fetzer was born November 8, 1901 in China Spring and attended schools there. She married Sterling P. Fetzer January 31, 1920, and he preceded her in death May 10, 1977. She was a member of Lake Shore United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Billy E. Fetzer of Austin and Jack. W. Fetzer of North Ridge, California; two sisters, Vivian Comer of Dallas and Pauline Breedlove of Waco; sister-in-law, Wincie Cannon of Waco; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
