John Ellison “Trey” Echterhoff, III was born in Waco, Texas, to John E. Jr. and Marytom Echterhoff. He graduated from China Spring High School in 2000 and later obtained an Associate’s Degree from Texas State Technical College in Biomedical Engineering Technology in 2010. He was employed by Associated Hygenic Products in Waco, Texas. Trey was a true, and fiercely loyal friend to many cherished China Spring “buddies” and post-high school “comrades”, and a devoted and loving husband and father to his wife, Linda, and sons, Daniel and Elijah.

Trey is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Daniel Hayes and Elijah James Echterhoff; his father, John E. Echterhoff, Jr., and wife, Sandra, of Amarillo; his mother, Marytom Milam, and husband, C.A., of Waco; sister, Summer Evans and husband, Jeff, of Frisco; brothers, Jarred R. Milam, and wife, Shelby, of Waco, and Justin Milam and wife, Alysia, of McKinney; father-in-law, Charles (Rick) Baker, of Lorena; sisters-in-law, Jennifer Crow and husband, Casey, of Waco; Ashley Illing and husband, Suart, of Waco, and Jessica Smith and husband, Christopher, of Chula Vista, California.
