Dorothy M. Davis, 83, of Waco died Sunday at her residence.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel, Ed James officiating. Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was born March 23, 1909, in Waco, where she was raised and educated. She married Halbert E. Davis on Nov. 28, 1929, in Waco; he died Aug. 5, 1966.
Mrs. Davis lived in San Antonio from 1946 until 1967, when she returned to Waco. She worked as an office supervisor for U.S.A.A. Insurance in San Antonio for 17 years before her retirement in 1967.
Mrs. Davis was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include a son, Elliott M. Davis of Valley Mills; two sisters, Jeanne Voth and Maryjo Barrett, both of Waco; a brother, Arnold Johnson of Belton; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
