Mrs. R.V. (Betty Sue) Cox of Houston, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2000 in a Houston nursing home. Services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 18, 2000 at Bellmead Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Bostick officiating. Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Thursday, August 17,2000 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cox was born February 9, 1929 in Navarro County. She was a homemaker, a member of the Eastern Star and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R.V. Cox in 1972.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Zipp of Houston; two sisters, Margaret Stewart of Houston and Helen Bostick of Miss.; a brother, E.B. Gillium of Tomball; a grandson, Ronnie Jernigan; and a great-granddaughter, Ashley Jernigan.

Pallbearers will be Rickey Stewart, Bob Zipp, Freddie Smith and Josh Smith.
